littleqr Inc · Effective October 19, 2026 · Policy version 2026-10-19

Subscription and service terms

Each registered account receives two successful lifetime QR generations. An active paid plan provides up to 200 further generations per UTC calendar day; unused daily generations do not roll over. Cosmetic edits and downloads do not use generations. Print-sheet creation and CNC SVG export require an active Pro subscription.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Standard costs CA$10.97 monthly or CA$119.88 annually. Pro costs CA$29.97 monthly or CA$287.71 annually. Pro annual pricing is 20% below twelve monthly payments, rounded to the nearest cent. Annual subscriptions are charged in one payment each year, not in monthly installments. Any applicable taxes and the final charge are shown before payment confirmation.

Every subscription renews automatically at the end of each selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. By confirming payment, you authorize recurring charges at the price and interval shown by Stripe. Cancel before your renewal through Manage subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period; access continues until that period ends while payment remains valid. Failed or overdue payments can suspend paid features. A cancellation does not automatically refund previous charges. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests; statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Plan changes, any prorations, and the next bill are shown for confirmation in Stripe.

Use the service only for content and logos you have permission to use. You are responsible for destination URLs, print settings and testing the final code. Small sizes, dense data, artwork, colors, damage or printer quality can reduce scannability. Service availability and successful scanning on every device are not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, littleqr Inc is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect content, unsafe destinations or untested print runs. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We will communicate material pricing or terms changes before they apply.

Share and earn

Share your personal referral link with people who want it. A new user must follow the link and create their account in that visit; attribution is fixed at signup. When their first paid subscription is a successfully paid Standard or Pro monthly plan, the sharing account receives eight extra QR-generation credits. Annual subscriptions, free trials, failed payments and sharing alone do not qualify. Rewards are granted once per referred account after Stripe verification and may take a short time to appear.

Credits have no cash value, do not expire, cannot be transferred, and do not unlock Pro printing. They are used after the two free generations when you have no active paid plan. With an active paid plan, daily usage remains capped at 200 and referral credits are saved for later. No self-referrals, duplicate accounts, spam, deceptive promotions or payment abuse. Suspected abuse may be investigated and unspent improperly awarded credits corrected after notice. If you publicly recommend Little QR using your referral link, disclose that you may receive generation credits. We do not reveal the referred person's identity or payment details to the referrer. You may request referral attribution removal through support before a reward is granted.

Privacy notice — PIPA and other applicable privacy laws

littleqr Inc is responsible for personal information used to operate Little QR. Privacy contact: support@littleQR.ca. This notice describes our practices; it is not a certification of compliance. Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) applies where littleqr Inc and the processing fall within its scope. PIPEDA or other provincial privacy laws may also apply, including for interprovincial or international activities.

We collect your email, a securely hashed password, account/session records, generation counters, subscription/customer identifiers, verified billing status, policy acceptance and any signup referral attribution. Security rate limits use keyed, short-lived identifiers. We use this information to authenticate accounts, enforce allowances, deliver subscriptions and referral credits, prevent abuse and answer support/privacy requests. Account creation requires accepting the Terms and acknowledging this notice; optional personalization is a separate choice.

QR text is sent to the generator over the network and processed in memory; QR text, matrices, PNGs and CNC SVGs are not saved in our database or application files. Logos stay in your browser during editing. If you create a Pro print sheet, the finished image, including its logo, is sent to the server to build a PDF in memory and is not stored. Downloads you save are controlled by you. Avoid entering sensitive information you do not want encoded in a publicly readable QR code.

Stripe processes payments and may collect payment details, billing information and fraud-prevention data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store full card numbers. Railway provides application hosting and PostgreSQL storage; the current staging resources are in the United States. These providers may process data outside your province or Canada, where foreign laws can apply. Contact us for information about service providers and cross-border handling. We do not sell personal information or run advertising/analytics trackers in this app.

We retain account and usage records while needed to provide the service, and billing/security/legal records as reasonably required for those purposes. Session cookies expire after seven days; optional preferences and cookie-choice records expire after 180 days unless renewed. Expired server sessions and rate-limit records are removed by maintenance. Request account deletion or withdrawal of consent through the privacy contact; we will explain any records that must be retained, service effects and backup expiry. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions. We do not promise immediate deletion from backups or payment-provider records.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about purposes and disclosures, withdraw optional consent, or make a privacy complaint by emailing the privacy contact. We verify identity using proportionate steps before disclosing account data, respond within applicable legal deadlines, and explain lawful restrictions. Do not send passwords or full card details. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, or the applicable regulator. We investigate security incidents and make required notifications under applicable law. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Cookie policy and choices

Essential: littleqr_session is a random, HttpOnly account/session cookie lasting up to seven days. It supports sign-in and CSRF protection; account identity and quota authority stay on the server. littleqr_cookie_consent remembers your essential-only or optional-preference choice for 180 days. These are used to provide the service and remember your privacy choice.

Optional: littleqr_preferences remembers that you have visited and your selected appearance, QR colors/shapes, and print paper/size/spacing for up to 180 days. It enables a generic “Welcome back” message. It stores no name, email, QR contents, logo, password or payment data. It is set only when you choose “Remember my preferences.” Choosing “Use essential only” removes it; controls still work for the current page. Your device’s system appearance can be used without saving a cookie.

You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings, or clear/block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies prevents sign-in. Referral attribution uses the link you register from; we do not set a referral-tracking cookie. Stripe-hosted Checkout and its portal may use their own necessary payment/security cookies, described in Stripe’s notices.
